JULY 2009

Well foaling season is nearly on us again, the first of Hollyford Parks foals is due next month.  This will be the first of Boston's foals for the stud, and I am looking forward to this. He has five foals due this season.

Nattai Early Morn finally joined us in April, thankyou to Robyn from Casuarina Ridge for allowing me to purchase her.  She is due to foal in October/November to Lenson Park Prelude, I am hoping for a nice filly as her last couple of foals have been colts.

Karanga Sea Eagle has also finally been weaned and joined the stud. Thanks again to Jenny and Wes Gardiner for allowing me to purchase him.  They also took him to a couple of foals shows to start his showing career, and he did very well placing in all classes he competed in and even winning Reserve Champion at Yarra Valley against tough competition. For more information and photographs of Sea Eagle go to his page. At the moment I am in the process of looking for someone to prepare and show him for me later in the year.

Our most recent bit of news is the Purchase of the purebred Arabian mare Salmik Sari'a from King Estate. Sari'a made the long trip down from N.S.W in June and is settling in very well. She was purchased to bred to Sonny later this year.
